NASHVILLE TN – United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee announces receipt of a grant in the amount of $5,000 from the Nashville Predator’s Foundation.
The grant will be used to provide tuition and funding assistance for children with disabilities of all types to attend community based summer programs through the UCP All Together Kids Program.
According to Executive Director Deana Claiborne, All Together Kids is a program designed to promote the inclusion of children with disabilities in community-based summer recreational, arts, and extra curricular programs alongside their typically developing peers.
UCP was one of 116 organizations selected from 300 applications to receive a grant in 2012. The Predator’s Foundation distributed over $325,000 to Nashville and Middle Tennessee-based community service and charitable organizations.
